A northern Queensland mining company had put aside millions of tons of ore that could at the time only be processed to a certain level using the technology available at the time. Working with the mining company we were able to develop a process that enabled the stockpile to be reprocessed. The process enabled them to recover over $8000.00 per load, the units each completed on average 8.3 loads per day. With the project running two units 24-7 for over a year, the initial cost of the two units was absolutely dwarfed by the return. Working closely with the process engineers, these units took about three months to design and another three to build each unit. It was a pleasure working with them and seeing the result was well worth it.
